Bootloader

The bootloader is some kind of very small program. It is needed to boot up the main operating system on your Neo FreeRunner. There exists two main bootloaders for Openmoko: Qi and U-boot. There also exists two different kinds of memory.

== NOR ==

The NOR memory is a very small one. It contains only a very small program to choose different options at the boot. You can get the bootloader version of this part with :

 grep  Bootloader /dev/mtdblock0

== NAND ==

The NAND memory is the main memory. It contains the main operating system. You can get the bootloader version of this part with :

 grep  Bootloader /dev/mtdblock1
